Network engineers will be updating route policies that route traffic for the Direct Link Connect service that provides private connectivity to our partner’s systems.
This maintenance will remediate high memory usage on the controlling router which is a prerequisite for a planned Direct Link migration to a new router.
This 11-hour extended maintenance window includes 8-hours of contingency time to replace the existing router in the event it does not come back online.
We have a diverse pair of Direct Link connections across different routers to our partner’s equipment that should minimize any service disruptions.
